Medical and dental school interviews

Medical school interview preparation with NHS doctors

Our medical school interview course is taught live by NHS doctors, so you walk in fully prepared whenever your interview date arrives. Realistic MMI practice, honest feedback, and teaching built around what medical and dental schools actually look for.

  1. Realistic mock MMI stations

Sit the same MMI and panel station formats used at real medical school interviews, run in small groups.

  2. Personalised interview feedback

NHS doctors show you what is landing and what is not, station by station.

  3. GMC-aligned teaching

Ethics, communication and NHS hot topics, covered the way interview panels expect to hear them.

  4. Prepared whenever you are called

Interview invites can land at a few weeks' notice. Our courses get you ready ahead of the day.

What you'll learn

The course is built around the competencies UK medical schools assess at MMI and panel interviews, so you can walk into any station knowing what is being looked for.

Motivation for medicine and work experience

Show why medicine, and reflect on your experience the way panels expect to hear it.

NHS knowledge and current healthcare issues

Speak confidently about how the NHS works and the issues shaping it today.

Medical ethics and GMC values

Handle consent, capacity and confidentiality against the four pillars of ethics.

Communication and role-play stations

Read the room, break difficult news and handle actor stations under pressure.

Teamwork and leadership

Approach group and collaborative stations the way assessors actually score them.

Problem-solving and critical thinking

Work through data, prioritisation and unfamiliar scenarios out loud and clearly.

MMI practice stations and scenarios

Rehearse the full range of station formats under realistic timed conditions.

Resilience, reflection and professionalism

Show insight and professional judgement, aligned with GMC expectations.

Prioritisation and decision-making under pressure

Stay structured and calm when a station escalates or throws something new.

What students say

Applicants who sat where you're sitting

Despite a UCAT score of 2100, I received interviews and offers from Liverpool, Manchester and Keele. Blue Peanut’s mock MMIs were the most authentic I attended—detailed feedback and realistic practice gave me confidence and helped me refine my approach.

2026 Entry Student

I achieved a 2480 UCAT and received interviews from Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Bristol, securing offers for Dentistry from all four. The mock MMI circuit was especially useful—great preparation and very helpful overall.

2026 Entry Student

Smaller groups and personalised support, and far better value than the pricier commercial courses. Their follow-up was instrumental in both my daughter and niece getting their offers.
